  11. Here is a list of ORGANIZATIONAL & Logical Network DISTRIBUTIONS, 
  12. available to Usenet as a whole.  This is NOT a who's who of anything
  13. so there is no honor to be had by being seen here.  It's simply an
  14. attempt to quantify and sort out the mess of publicly known distributions.

  16. This list does not include internal distributions, only public 
  17. distributions that your organization passes around widely.  If you don't 
  18. care who sees your organization's news, then send in your information.
  19. If however your news is private, then don't send your information,
  20. and if you see your distribution here, then ask to have it removed.
  21. If YOU consider it a local or limited distribution, it shouldn't 
  22. be here.  PLEASE BE SOME SORT OF OFFICIAL PERSON when asking to
  23. add or remove organizational distributions here.

  25. Please feel free to add to it, or point out things that shouldn't be there, 
  26. it's not complete, nor necessarily correct.  Also, if you note 
  27. inconsistencies or misspellings, please send them along as corrections.

  41. One of ADD, DELETE, CORRECT.  To differentiate corrections
  42. from additions and deletions easily, please use the following format.

  44. ADD distribution: City/COUNTY-PROVINCE/STATE/COUNTRY
  45. DELETE distribution: City/COUNTY-PROVINCE/STATE/COUNTRY
  46. CORRECT old entry|new entry

  48. The "distribution tag" should be lower case.  The others should be upper case 
  49. if and only if they have been defined elsewhere as a distribution.  If 
  50. it *has* been defined, then please use the actual distribution tag.  
  51.  
  52. If a distribution has *not* been defined, then please spell out the name,
  53. in lower case, (DO NOT USE YOUR POSTAL CODE) and mark it with an asterisk (*).

  56. The first word after the colon (:) should describe the word before the colon 
  57. completely.  The first character after the colon is a space, one space only.
